 A bit of history Minimize

More then 40 years ago I sailed my first boat and race in a Piraat, later a Flits, after that a Schakel. These are all typical Dutch wooden dinghy’s.

More then 30 years ago I sailed my first big boat, a quarter ton IOR race boat.

More then 20 years ago I started FF Boats (Fast & Fun Hi-Tech Boats) and build my first (big) boat, a ULDB (Ultra light Displacement Boat) made with SP systems epoxy resin, UD glass, UD carbon and vacuum bagged.
The boat became very successful and famous and after that we build 83 from those excellent, and now more then 20 years later, also proven High Quality boats in 3 different types, all designed by Jac. de Ridder Yacht design.

After that period I worked on some 60-100 ft boats, build with wood epoxy, carbon and kevlar/twaron  pre-pregs , vacuum injection, post curing, made some parts for a VOR (bulkheads and rudder) and so on. In totally I build more then 100 boats.
I am a retired yacht builder now, so that’s the past.

And now the future.
Building fast and high quality boats is very nice to do, sailing with them too.
